The Inn has a lot to live up to due to its location in the peaceful and stunningly beautiful village of Far Sawrey, the once home of Beatrix Potter and where her house can still be visited owned and maintained by the National Trust. Nearby Hawkshead is a typical and true Lake District village offering plenty to see and do but what brings so many to stay at the Cuckoo Brow is the walking of the many fells surrounding the Inn.
